Madrid - Spain's Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska hailed HM King Mohammed VI's commitment to the development and progress of the Kingdom."The celebration of the 25th anniversary of HM The King's enthronement is a precious opportunity to congratulate the Sovereign on His commitment to the development and progress of Morocco", Grande-Marlaska told MAP following a reception hosted in Madrid on Tuesday evening by Morocco's ambassador to Spain Karima Benyaich, on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day."This emblematic event celebrates not only the anniversary of the enthronement of HM the King, but also the advances made by the Kingdom of Morocco under His enlightened leadership", he added.Seizing the opportunity to offer his warmest congratulations to HM the King and the Moroccan people, the Spanish minister stated that Morocco is an "important partner" with which Spain enjoys "fraternal and good neighbourly" relations."In Spain, the Moroccan community, boasting over a million people, is a success story in terms of integration, collaboration and cooperation, playing an essential role in the development of our country and the strengthening of relations between our two nations", stressed Grande-Marlaska.The Spanish official welcomed the progress made in recent years to further promote Spain-Morocco relations, noting that this "dynamic should serve as a driving force for the future of both countries".Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
