VFS Global with support from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority has opened a new Ultra Centre for Licensing and Vehicle Registration in Accra.Operated by Bridge Direct, in collaboration with VFS Global, the Centre offers applicants a convenient and comfortable environment for submitting their Vehicle and License applications.A statement issued in Accra said a dedicated contact centre number and email support service were available for customers to answer queries and track the application status.Mr. Alok Singhal, Head- Sub-Saharan Africa, VFS Global, commenting on the launch of the new Centre, said, 'With the new Ultra DVLA Centre in Accra, we are confident of delivering applicants with a world-class service experience, by leveraging on our global experience of providing transparent and scalable solutions in the citizen services space.'He said the conveniently located Centre would offer a more personalised experience and equipped to handle higher application volumes with expedited processing t imes.He said since they commenced operations in 2005, VFS Global had supported the economic growth and development of Ghana through strong workforce of 100-plus employees, who support their operations every day by maintaining the highest levels of service and security.Key services at the Ultra Centre will include driver's licence renewal, replacement of Licenses, Amendment of records, Missing Licence, International Driving Permit, Foreign License Conversion, Vehicle Registration, International Vehicle Permit.He said VFS Global had operated International Driving Permit Centres across South Africa since 2022 located in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, and Pretoria.He said the Application Centres were managed by VFS Global on behalf of the Automobile Association of South Africa, the country's authorised issuer of International Driving Permits.The company also manages the Premium Driving License Application Center in Port Harcourt which is operated by Concierge Travels on behalf of River State Internal Revenue Service and Federal Road Safety Commission to facilitate the National Driver's License Applications for residents of Nigeria.Source: Ghana News Agency
