Yusif Basigi, Head Coach of the Black Princesses has appointed 17-year-old Stella Nyamekye as Captain ahead of the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Columbia.The midfielder, who holds a license D coaching certificate would be assisted by Northern Ladies shot stopper Afi Amenyeku and ASFAR attacker, Mafia Nyame.She scored in Ghana's 2-2 friendly encounter against South Korea on Tuesday.The youngster speaking after her appointment said 'It's an honour to be named Captain of the Black Princesses and I would wear the armband with real pride.
