Tinubu Offers Condolences to Ghana Following Fatal Helicopter Crash

Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt condolences to President John Mahama and the people of Ghana following a tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight Ghanaians, including two ministers.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the crash occurred in Ghana’s southern Ashanti region, resulting in the deaths of all passengers on board. Among the victims were Defence Minister Edward Boamah and Environment Minister Ibrahim Muhammed.

President Tinubu, in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson Mr. Bayo Onanuga, assured President Mahama and the Ghanaian people that the thoughts and prayers of the Nigerian government and its citizens are with them during this time of profound national loss.

The President urged the Ghanaian nation and the bereaved families to find solace in the fact that their loved ones perished while serving their country in a patriotic capacity.
