Madina: Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud, Secretary, Amiru Hajj Team, Taraba State, has commended the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for making pilgrims’ Nusuk cards ready in Madina before proceeding to Makkah for Hajj rites. Mahmud expressed excitement over the hospitality provided by NAHCON officers in Madina.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the first batch of pilgrims from Ogun, Kaduna, Niger, and Osun who visited Madina have now moved to Makkah for the Hajj. Mahmud shared his satisfaction with the organization and hospitality provided, stating that the experience has been smooth and problem-free since their arrival.
He noted that the Nusuk cards were prepared and ready for distribution, praising NAHCON for its effective management of the overall Hajj operations. Mahmud encouraged the team to make improvements in some areas, specifically mentioning the difficulty in accessing Rawdah during the Ziyarah visit.
Despite this, he acknowledged that other visits, including to the Prophet’s Mosque, Haram al-Nobawi, Masjid Quba, and Masjid Uhud, were successfully conducted.
