Doha - Several Moroccan novels and studies have been included in the shortlist of the nine best works competing in various categories of the 10th Katara Prize for the Arab Novel, according to a press release issued on Monday by the "Katara" Cultural Village Foundation.The list features 36 novels and critical studies selected in the categories "published novels", "unpublished novels", "unpublished children's novels" and "unpublished critical studies".In this year's edition, 1,697 entries compete for the Katara Prize for Arabic Novel, including 886 unpublished novels, 437 novels published in 2023, 177 unpublished young adult novels, 91 unpublished studies, 7 published Qatari novels and 99 unpublished historical novels.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
