Rabat - Assistant Secretary General for Humanitarian, Cultural and Social Affairs at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakheet, praised, here Wednesday, Al-Quds Committee's action, under the Chairmanship of HM King Mohammed VI, to preserve the Holy City's cultural identity, in line with the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and the Council of Foreign Ministers.During a visit at the head of a large OIC delegation to the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency's headquarters, Bakheet highlighted the role of the Agency, an offshoot of the Al-Quds Committee of the OIC, in preserving the Holy City's cultural capital and supporting its inhabitants in accordance with the relevant resolutions, Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency said in a press release.The OIC Assistant Secretary General stressed the importance of supporting the Agency in carrying out its missions, the same source added, noting that the Agency's action is of central importance, given the daily challenges facing the Palestini an people.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
