Belgrade - Under the visionary leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco stands out as "a model of stability and resilience in the face of various challenges", according to the former Serbian Foreign Minister, Vuk Jeremic."The ambitious reforms initiated over the last 25 years have undeniably placed Morocco at the forefront of democratisation, modernisation and development", Jeremic told MAP on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day.Since the enthronement of His Majesty the King, he noted, the Kingdom has been transformed into a vast open-air hub, committed to the path of emergence and all-round growth.According to Jeremic, this dynamic is in line with the Sovereign's desire "to ensure comprehensive and integrated development, establish social justice and consolidate the Kingdom's position on the regional and international scenes", while enshrining the values of democracy and modernity, in perfect harmony with the identity of Moroccan society.Referring to the key factors that underpin Morocco's repu tation as a haven of stability and progress, he cited HM the King's "far-sighted vision and proactive approach", as well as the Kingdom's commitment to major international issues such as the environment and achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.Jeremic added that Morocco's successful management of the Covid19 crisis, the fight against extremism, anti-terrorist cooperation with several European countries and the establishment of "win-win" partnerships are all notable achievements. He also stressed that the organization of the World Cup by Morocco, Spain and Portugal, as well as the promotion of sport as driving force for development, would inevitably contribute to this virtuous dynamic.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
