Laayoune - Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Malawian counterpart, Nancy Tembo, signed several legal instruments on Tuesday in Laayoune, on the occasion of the 1st session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between the two countries.This Commission opens a new chapter in sectoral cooperation between Morocco and Malawi, covering sectors such as agriculture, food security and mining, water and sanitation, energy development, transport and infrastructure, land, housing and urban development, higher education and scientific research, as well as the promotion of tourism, cultural, religious and political programs.Morocco and Malawi aspire to raise their relations to the level of a tangible and multidimensional partnership through this Joint Commission, held within the framework of the vision of the Heads of State of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency President Lazarus Chakwera.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
