Laayoune - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Malawi, Nancy Tembo, welcomed, on Tuesday in Laayoune, the Initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at promoting the access of Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean.Speaking at a press briefing at the end of the ministerial meeting of the joint cooperation commission between the two countries, co-chaired with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Tembo described as enlightened the Initiative, and an opportunity to strengthen intra-African cooperation.On this occasion, the head of Malawian diplomacy stressed that this Initiative will contribute to the socio-economic development of the region and ensure stability and prosperity in Africa.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
