The desks are thus, the assembly's efforts to support education. We've been receiving reports of furniture needs from the education directorate. As we're about to begin a new academic year, we find it prudent to get these desks'.He said the donation would help reduce furnit ure-related distractions in these schools, improve student comfort and concentration for enhanced teaching and learning to ultimately boost academic performance.Mr Lugudor said the Assembly recognised other challenges facing the education sector in the municipality which included poor classroom infrastructure and asked the public to exercise patience as the government had pledged its commitment to the development of Ketu South and the country at large.Source: Ghana News Agency
