Cairo - Since His accession to the Throne, HM King Mohammed VI, thanks to a momentum of all-out reforms, has positioned Morocco among developed nations, said Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Assoumi."His Majesty the King tirelessly endeavors to meet the aspirations of His people for a dignified life, through a vision that has positioned Morocco among developed nations," Al-Assoumi told MAP on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty the King.Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, has made great progress in various fields, he added, welcoming the economic and institutional reforms initiated under the leadership of the Sovereign to promote public freedoms and women's rights.The Arab Parliament Speaker also commended the growth achieved over the last 25 years, as well as the resilience shown by the Moroccan economy.Regarding human rights, he stressed that Morocco has made historic progress, crowned by the election of the Ki ngdom to the presidency of the UN Human Rights Council for 2024.This achievement, he noted, is "the culmination of the wise policy pursued by Morocco in this field, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, to consolidate human rights mechanisms".Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
