The guarantorship as a proof of eligibility for registering potential voters tops mop-up Voter Registration exercise in the Oti Region.Out of the 2,988 new registered voters in the Region, 2,110 voters had their Voter ID Cards through guarantors, 747 used Ghana Card for acquiring it, with only one applicant using the Ghana Passport as a proof of eligibility in acquiring the Voter ID Card.The information was in the Oti Region Electoral Commission (EC) 2024 Mop-up Voter Registration Statistics document made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by the Regional Director, Mr Mahama Nuhu.Source: Ghana News Agency
