The Kadjebi District of the Oti Region registered a total of 1,369 candidate, involving 697 males and 672 females for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), but there were six absentees.However, among the 1,363 candidates who turned up to sit for the exams were four nursing mothers.In the 2023 WASSCE, the District presented 1,406 candidates, but 1,404 including nine pregnant girls showed up to sit for the exams, with two absentees.Mr Christopher Agorkle, the Kadjebi District Exams Coordinator, disclosed this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and said the examination was going on well.The examination which started on Monday, August 5, 2024, with Basketry 3 (Practical), would end on Friday, September 20, 2024, with Applied Electricity 1 (Objective) at 1500hours across the country.Source: Ghana News Agency
