C’River Government Announces Reconstruction Plans for Obudu Ranch

Calabar: The Cross River Government has announced its plans to begin the reconstruction of the Obudu Ranch, aiming to strengthen the state’s position in Nigeria’s tourism industry. Mr Sunday Michael, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Obudu Ranch Resort, revealed this development during an interview with newsmen in Calabar.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Michael stated that a redesigned model for the ranch has been completed, paving the way for reconstruction to commence. The primary goal of this initiative is to revitalize and reposition the resort as a leading destination for eco-tourism. The redesigned Obudu Ranch Resort is set to provide facilities and amenities to enhance the appeal of eco-tourism.

The project intends to highlight the natural landscape and cultural heritage of Cross River. It is expected to generate employment, drive economic growth, and increase revenue for the state. The reconstruction is also seen as a reflection of Gov. Bassey Otu’s dedication to advancing the tourism sector in the region.
