Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security (AMSSNuR) Saïd Mouline took part in the annual meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Collaborating Centres, held on July 17-19 in Beijing.Bringing together representatives from Brazil, Hungary, Japan, Jordan, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Russia, Thailand and Tajikistan, this event was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Collaborating Centres in the field of nuclear safety, according to a press release published on the Agency's website.At the meeting, the AMSSNuR presented its achievements within the framework of its mandate as a Collaborating Centre, as well as its future plans for continuing to strengthen nuclear security, the statement specified.Mouline, who is also Chairman of the Global Nuclear Safety and Security Network (GNSSN), continues to play a key role in strengthening nuclear safety on the African continent and internationally, the same source pointed out.Mouline's part icipation in this annual meeting in Beijing reflects AMSSNuR's commitment to working closely with the IAEA and its Collaborating Centres to ensure the safe, secure and peaceful use of ionizing radiation sources.C Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
