Rabat - The women's national beach volleyball team (U19) has qualified for the World Cup, scheduled for August 27 to September 1, 2024 in China's Shangluo.The national team, made up of Aida Lamzouk and Imane Fakhr, qualified for the Chinese World Cup after winning the silver medal at the African Beach Volleyball Championship, which took place in the Moroccan town of Martil, said the Royal Moroccan Volleyball Federation (FRMVB) in a statement.The men's national U20 volleyball team booked its ticket for the next World Cup, slated for 2025, by securing the bronze medal at the African Championship held in Tunisia (August 2-12), added the same source.In addition, the men's national team (U18) will take part in the African Volleyball Championship scheduled for August 22 to September 1, 2024 in Tunis, a qualifier for the World Cup.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
