Atiku Foundation Offers Full Scholarship to TeenEagle Global Winners

Abuja: Atiku Abubakar Foundation (AAF) has extended a fully-funded scholarship to Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli, who emerged as global winners at the TeenEagle Global finals. Prof. Ahmadu Shehu, the Acting Secretary of the foundation, announced this initiative in a statement made in Abuja.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the AAF, known as the philanthropic arm of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has consistently supported educational initiatives in Nigeria. The scholarship promises to finance the girls’ education until they graduate from the university. A letter has been dispatched to the recipients to inform them of this sponsorship.

The scholarship covers the remainder of their secondary education and their entire university studies at any institution they choose. Their success at the TeenEagle competition is recognized as a testament to their dedication, and the AAF’s scholarship underscores their potential. It serves as a hopeful indication that with commitment and support, dreams are attainable regardless of one’s background.

Prof. Shehu also highlighted that this gesture is in line with the foundation’s mission to enhance quality education, particularly for girls and marginalized groups. Empowering young women is viewed by the foundation as a critical investment in the nation’s future.
