Marrakech - The 2nd Marrakech Economic Parliamentary Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Gulf, initiated by the House of Councilors and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), kicked off, Thursday, under the High patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.The opening session was marked by speeches from PAM's president, Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, as well as representatives of legislative institutions and parliamentary groups from Africa, the Arab world, Latin America, Central America, and South America.This Forum, whose constitutive session took place in December 2022 in Marrakech, represents an ideal opportunity for parliamentarians and founding partners of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean to interact with political and economic stakeholders from public and private sectors, as well as with academia and civil society.Source: Agence Marocaine De Presse
