The amount was realized from contributions from learners from all Basic Schools across the municipality as a show of solidarity and empathy for the boy who has suffered a cancerous eye condition.

Madam Habiiba Kotoma, the Municipal Director of Education who made the presentation said the thoughts and hearts of the whole school community in the municipality were behind the boy as he underwent treatment for which reason they have raised funds to support him.

She sympathized with the boy who had gone through the unfortunate condition at his tender age.

She said she was of the firm belief that he would make a stable comeback in due course to continue his education.
