Zaire: At least 42 out of 97 social projects under the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM) in the northern Zaire province have been completed since the program’s inception in May 2020. This update was shared by the deputy governor for the Technical and Infrastructure sector, Ângela Diogo, following a Provincial government’s council meeting.
According to Angola Press News Agency, Ângela Diogo detailed that 90 of the projects are managed by the provincial government and municipal administrations, with the remaining seven overseen by various ministerial departments. She highlighted that among the completed projects, 19 have been inaugurated, while 22 are pending equipment installations. Significant projects include the construction of a maternal and child hospital, a health center in the commune of Kaluka, and a municipal morgue in Mbanza Kongo.
