Abuja: Dr. Bridget-Torbua Igbauke, the Director-General of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ethical Political Ideology Movement, expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, citing his boldness and ethical conduct as instrumental in steering Nigeria towards progress. She made these remarks during the inaugural news conference of the Movement held in Abuja, emphasizing the group’s commitment to supporting Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Movement’s inauguration was conducted in collaboration with the Good Leadership Support Organisation (GLSO). Dr. Igbauke highlighted Tinubu’s political ideology as a foundational tool for enabling Nigerians to achieve greater success. She praised Tinubu’s leadership as transformative, breaking away from negative precedents and setting a new economic paradigm for the country.
Dr. Igbauke urged Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to embrace Tinubu’s political ideology, which she described as a balanced blend of capitalism and socialism that mitigates their respective drawbacks. She drew parallels between Tinubu’s leadership and that of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, noting that Blair’s tenure was marked by significant growth and development.
The Director-General further credited Tinubu’s administration with several achievements, including affordable education through NELFUND, enhanced healthcare access, and affordable medication. She also mentioned the establishment of regional development commissions, local government autonomy, oil and gas sector stability, and the creation of the National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC) as evidence of Tinubu’s effective governance.
