Luanda: National and international researchers in the fields of management, sport, education, and health began sharing their technical and scientific research experiences on Tuesday during the 8th International Management Congress held in Luanda.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the three-day event provides participants the opportunity to exchange experiences, promote innovative practices, and share research results in areas such as science and technology, environmental sustainability, and social and gender equality. Organized by Gregorio Semedo University (UGS), the congress focuses on the development of science to keep pace with dynamic changes in scientific and technical research worldwide.
The 8th International Congress on Management, Sports Administration, and Education (GADE 2024) is being held by UGS over three days, under the theme ‘Innovation and Sustainable Transformation in Administrative, Sports and Educational Management: Challenges and Opportunities’. The congress, conducted in a virtual
format and broadcast in real-time via digital platforms, addresses scientific development as a means of keeping up with global changes in science and technology sectors. It brings together sportspeople, students, academic entrepreneurs, and researchers across management, sport, education, and health.
The GADE-UGS 2024 program includes pre-congress courses, keynote lectures, panel discussions, and presentations of research papers in both face-to-face and online sessions. Speaking at the opening ceremony, UGS Chancellor Professor José Semedo emphasized science and technology as the driving force behind human emancipation and knowledge, describing them as the most important weapons against social exclusion.
‘Today, as we celebrate 20 years of the institution, we are holding the conference, organized by RED GADE in Angola, to create a platform for the exchange of experiences between national and international speakers,’ Professor Semedo stated.
