According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, inaugurated the road project on behalf of President Tinubu. He highlighted that the road construction aligns with the Tinubu administration’s commitment to making roads across the country motorable. The group emphasized that this initiative reflects the administration’s dedication to improving national infrastructure for the benefit of all Nigerians.

The group expressed optimism that with the inauguration of the dualisation work, motorists traveling to the western, eastern, and northern parts of the country will experience significant relief. They noted that the project would also boost economic activities for residents of Kogi and Edo along the road corridor.

TMV reminded Nigerians that the project had been abandoned by previous administrations despite receiving significant capital allocations. They praised the Works Minister for realizing President Tinubu’s vision through the development of critical road infrastructure. The group pointed out that the road had been neglected for years, causing frustration and inconvenience for road users. However, the Tinubu administration is now changing the narrative by focusing on leaving a lasting legacy of quality roads.

TMV also urged Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu administration in its efforts to rebuild the country’s road infrastructure.
