According to Omoboriowo, the partnership unites the government, private sector, international development organizations, and key stakeholders who share a vision of a bold, innovative, and globally competitive creative Africa. Under the agreement, the ministry will provide policy support, facilitate access to financing, and coordinate inter-agency collaboration for seamless project execution. Creative Park Ltd. will manage the design, development, and operations of the Creative City, working with private investors to ensure sustainability.
The collaboration is anticipated to generate employment, support local content production, and enhance Nigeria’s global creative footprint. The MoU, effective for an initial period of five years, aligns with the Federal Government’s strategy to harness the creative economy as a key driver of national development.
