Lagos: The Area Controller, Tin Can Island Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Comptroller Frank Onyeka, has announced that the command generated N347.9 billion in the first quarter of 2025. This announcement was made through the Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Customs Oscar Ivara, to newsmen in Lagos on Monday.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Onyeka attributed the impressive revenue generation to the adoption of Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi’s policy of consolidation, collaboration, and innovation. The revenue collection peaked in March 2025 with N128.2 billion, which is 10.3 percent higher than the N115.1 billion generated in March 2024. Overall, the total revenue for the first quarter of 2025 reached N347.93 billion, reflecting a 12.6 percent increase from the N304 billion generated in the same period in 2024.
