A one-off track event open to all with the Nissan Micra Cup

The first day “On the Trail for All” of the Canadians’ favorite monotype racing series promises to be a memorable gift for Father’s Day

MISSISSAUGA, ON – On June 18, JD Promotion & Competition, with the support of Total Canada, will hold an “Experience Discovery” event at the ICAR circuit in Quebec as part of the Nissan Micra Cup. On Father’s Day, this day on the track will be the perfect opportunity for motor sports enthusiasts and the Nissan Micra Cup to settle in a racing car and feel the thrill of the series Most accessible car racing event in Canada.

For their “Discovery Experience”, participants will be accompanied by a Nissan Micra Cup driver who will ensure that they experience an exhilarating and safe experience. 2015 Champion Olivier Bedard, 2016 Champion Xavier Coupal, and Valerie Limoges, 5th in the 2016 Championship, will be one-day instructors and will explain to the participants how to drive the Nissan Micra racing. These three drivers took the podium at the last race of the series – the Spring Classic, on Sunday, May 28th at Circuit Mont Tremblant.

After a theoretical session, participants will have the chance to experience an experience similar to that of the Nissan Micra Cup drivers by taking the track at the wheel of one of the race cars of the series. They will conclude their experience as a passenger aboard the Nissan GT-R 2017 for a final lap alongside their instructor at full speed.

To participate, simply register at starting June 7th. Only 30 seats are available at a cost of $ 295 (plus taxes) for a 20-minute track session. All Cup racing cars – including those for the “Discovery Experience” – are equipped with a standard 5-speed manual transmission.
